If I Can Tell your Fortune, Can I Predict the Winning Lottery Numbers?

My dear sister has been reading my Tarot cards on and off for over 25 years. Generally my readings are full of really good things. For years the same cards have appeared from the deck and indicated amazingly positive things in my life. There were a few exceptions and they actually corresponded to comparatively rough times.

I do not ask the cards questions as I am really not superstitious. I have found it rather interesting that the random nature of the cards doesn't seem to affect the ones that appear in my readings. I look at it as a good example of a mathematical improbability or metaphysical intervention. You can decide that one.

As a "girls time" adventure, both Her Royal Cuteness and I decided that we would learn to read Tarot cards as well. We researched and scoured the internet and selected the proper decks that "spoke" to us. We read books and experimented with readings and were actually becoming comfortable with our own way of interpreting the cards. Then our house went up in flames (why couldn't we see THAT ONE coming???) and our cards and books were either ruined or misplaced.

Just recently, I found my original deck. I think that I will enjoy the process of learning the cards once more and look forward to reaching that comfort level again.

I found one deck that I just think is hysterical, The Housewives Tarot. Here is one of my favorite illustrations from that deck.

All decks have to have a Death Card so why not???

E-mail me or comment if you want a reading. It won't be as good as in person, but it'll give me some practice. And if your reading is all doom and gloom - I can change it and you'll never know!!!

  1. What a fun idea! It really seems to be fairly accurate? Here's to hoping you see a hottie in mine. :) No pressure, but I sure could do without doom and gloom.

  2. Love that death card! It should be framed and on the wall. Maybe it would deter my from eating too much mayonnaise.

  6. Well, if you can tell me the winning lottery numbers, I'm pretty sure I can make my own predictions of my future after that! :-)

  8. Krissy - If I could see Hotties, I'd do this all day long! Let me know how the cards did - if you don't like the reading - blame the internet for interference.

Stephen - It might be my favorite card in the deck.

Brent - Do a google image search and you can see a lot of the cards. They are awesome.

Roland -Thanks for the follow. I will return the visit! The Death card is not a bad card actually - it can mean change for the better.

Mynx - Let me know what you think of the reading!

Nicky - Yeah - my future would probably look pretty good then too!

Sandra - I'll work on it - not the hitting.

  9. Oh my god. I'm a total freak for tarot and horoscopes, which is weird considering I'm a total crusty cynic about everything else, and almost get eyestrain from rolling my eyes so hard whenever someone tells a ghost story.

    Go figure.

I'm sorry about your house, but I have to say, I would freaking LOVE a reading. Should I email you?

  10. Fun! My sister does my tarot readings. I am VERY superstitious. I actually start to feel guilty about getting the readings because maybe i'm discovering more knowledge than I am meant to know. Ya know?

  11. Karen - I'll e-mail it to you later today - got to get ready for the football.

Crystal - I only have her read my cars every year or so now. It's cool that your sister reads yours as well!

  12. That was fun! I'd love to see if tarot cards match my 6th sense. If I saw the mayonnaise card, I'd run! ;-)
