This challenge brought to you by Ziva and Mike poses a theme for each day of the month.
While my photos make me cringe, please check out the other participants who will certainly inspire you!!!
Mirror
My creative endeavors have been mostly shut down post-fire, yet I hope that I will soon be getting back to my workspace and my stained glass. This shot is taken through a kaleidoscope that I made of stained glass a few years ago. When I saw the theme of mirror, I knew what type of mirror I was going to photograph, I just wasn't sure of the probable success of shooting through the scope. I like the resullt as the image produced is supposed to look orb-like.
I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Deleteit looks pretty! way to go capturing something through a scope.

ReplyDeleteThanks, woman!
DeleteYour picture looks artistic, scientific and spiritual all at the same time. This is a rare achievement.
ReplyDeleteWow, Stephen, I just was going for pretty.
DeleteWow! This is so neat! Extra points for the creating the source material and then going for the scope shot! You win! :-D
ReplyDeleteI WIN?!?!?!!?!? Wooo hooo! Take that Mike!
DeleteThe little faint streaks emanating make it almost perfect. Perfect would have been massively bigger. I'd like to live inside that kaleidoscope.
ReplyDeletePerfect would be good...I love kaleidoscopes which is why I enjoy making them. Maybe I can make a life-size one someday!!
DeleteThis. Is. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank. You.
DeleteWow. This is just.. perfection.
ReplyDeleteThanks - I could stare at them all day - but I'm kind of simple like that!
DeleteThat's a great photo. All of a sudden I'm feeling like John Travolata in his white suit.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't even thought about a disco ball when I looked at it. A disco ball would have been a great mirror shot!
DeleteVery creative - It DOES look like an orb! W.C.C.
ReplyDeleteThat is TOTALLY awesome, especially in the enlarged view. I love it, and it's impressive that you're able to make things with mirrors and bits of glass in them.
ReplyDeleteConsiderably less dizzying and way more impressive than my shot. Nice! I love stained glass.
