OK. So, I had the luck to stay at a Ronald McDonald House. Her Royal Cuteness was of the opinion that they should serve Happy Meals to the people staying there. I was just happy to see this shiny package in the morning. There were restaurant style coffee makers in each dining room and I could now make McDonald's coffee with the best of their employees.
Are you like me? I don't even drink coffee, and yet I obssesively collect free coffee packets from hotel rooms, conferences and the like. I give them to my father or brother-in-law. I just hate to pass up free stuff, I guess.
ReplyDeleteGood photo!
NOBODY is like you, Michael! I did not bring home these packets as they make an entire restaurant carafe of coffee. I needed to ingest it, not bring it home!
DeleteThere are 7.1 billion people on the planet. There must be somebody like me.
DeleteI feel so alone....
Mmmmmmmmmmm....COFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am super glad you're playing along again!
XOXOXO
It REALLY helped me survive my days...Funny, I don't recall ever agreeing to participate in this again. Must be some kind of mind, time-travel voodoo performed by Ziva and Mike.
DeleteThat's the shiniest coffee I've ever seen! I hope Her Royal Cuteness is okay, and that she got that Happy Meal. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt brought a shiny smile to my face! She is fine (thank you) and I did get her one Happy Meal while we were there, only they messed up her order. Figures...
DeleteNothing like a caffeinated shine in the morning.
ReplyDeleteOne morning, there was only decaf in my kitchen - it was a near catastrophe!(eww, that word has cat in it)
DeleteI quite like McD's coffee. It's far better than the coffee they used to have. Nice interpretation of the theme today.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that I've ever bought a cup of their coffee, but I've rarely had a morning cup that I didn't enjoy!
Deletegood choice for SHINY! I think McDonald's makes great coffee.
ReplyDeleteThe secret must be in the sauce!
Deletethat's one thing i didn't think of for shiny. foil! good one.
ReplyDeleteMy only other thought was a shiny penny and I didn't have one!
DeleteOh boy! Shiny coffee! Nothing finer in the morning.
ReplyDeleteIt sure brightened my day!
DeleteI don't even drink coffee and this makes my mouth water. Maybe I just have a thing for shiny things marked with huge M's.
ReplyDeleteI could send you an empty package if I had saved one!
DeleteI don't like coffee, but I like the idea of starting the day with a shiny beverage. I'm glad Her Royal Cuteness is fine. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicky! Your morning Shiny beverage could be vodka on the rocks!
DeleteI don't know what I'd do without my cup of coffee in the morning. Probably drive somewhere to get some.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of when the hurricanes blow through and the lines start forming at the convenience stores in the morning...a queue of sleepy caffeine deprived folks without power. The coffee pot is first to get juice from the generator.
DeleteNothing like the smell of coffee in the morning!
ReplyDeleteThat smell gets me ANYTIME! LOVE IT!
DeleteOK, you WIN. Because you took a picture of COFFEE. SHINY coffee, at that! WOOT!
ReplyDeleteHope many people there can smile seeing it just like you. Cute photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to brighten up your day. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm like Mike. I just grabbed all the free coffee packets at my hotel this weekend and took them with me to my current lodgings. What's wrong with me? There's a Starbucks across the street already!
ReplyDeleteOh, Yeah. *Abandons looking at pictures and heads to Mickey D's for a cup of java*
ReplyDeleteThere's no denying the shininess of that package!
ReplyDeleteI puffy heart coffee!! I'm kind of a snob about coffee but I will collect the free packets when on vacation to keep in case I run out of the good stuff at home.
