30 Days of Photographs III - Vibration

Our home is not a still, quiet one and never has been.

We have endured music practice on drums and violin. There is generally a television on somewhere and most likely it is airing a noisy horror movie with lots of subwoofer action.

We have suffered through dog's snoring and hamsters running on endless wheels throughout the night. If the washer or dryer are running, it sounds as if Apache helicopters are landing on the roof.

There's the "daddy chair" which shakes the floor - it's a la-z-boy with massage and heat. There are multiple cell phones all set to vibrate and/or ring to call us all to immediate action.

With all of this shaking going on - you'd think that there would be a little thrill in it for somebody, right?

Well, there is some shaking that just can't be beat. It goes from your fingers down to your toes, rings your bell, flashes bright lights and makes you feel like you really scored.

Enjoy, but please remember that this is for entertainment purposes only...

    1. Only louder than the rest sometimes. The dog can't stand the sounds from this machine as it has the old fashioned chimes.

  3. Wow, I haven't played in years. I've probably pumped enough quarters into those things over the years to buy one.

Everybody that hears the laundry running thinks it is a helicopter over the house.

  6. I love old fashioned pinball. Never could get into the newer electronic game systems. We had one called "Pinky" in my in-laws' basement that provided us with endless hours of amusement. We'd write our high scores on the basement wall next to PInky, using the chalk from the pool table. Good memories!

  7. I was never any good at playing pinball but I did enjoy it as a kid. I probably haven't flipped a paddle in fifty years.

    1. You have to play a lot on the same machine to get around to being "good." most kids don't have the coins for that.

    I loved this line:
