Why I Love My Husband Even Though I Often Want to Have His Brain Weighed

This weekend we went on a buying spree at the local "home" store. It was replacement time for kitchen gadgets, pillows, and some bakeware. We also restocked our supply of coffee "pods" for our home brewer.

This was to be Hubby's job - selecting the flavors/roasts for our little home coffee station. It really is a fun, extraneous gadget. On weekdays we mostly drink a pot of half-caf brewed in the standard 12 cup machine. But on the weekends, we like to indulge in flavors and specialty cups. We have stocked up on pods and even have the sugar-free flavored syrups at the ready. That is our fun start to the weekend morning, coffee and the newspaper in bed with the dog. Since we have two teenagers, there is no longer the 6 am wake-up call -except from the dog.

All I need is a hunky, cute barista and my morning would be complete!

Often when the hubby gets up and walks his majesty, he will bring me coffee and the paper. This weekend he proudly presented me with a hot cup of  flavored coffee. After drinking it for a few minutes, he asked if I liked it.

"What do you think of the coffee?"
"It's fine."
"It's Kahlua flavored."
"Okay. You understand what that means, right?"
" What?"
"Just what is Kahlua?"
" Oh no. You  mean I bought coffee flavored coffee?!?"

Yep and he paid good money for those expensive little tasty coffee pods...

    I understand the need to weigh the brain thingy, but since I'm not a coffee drinker....????

    HEE HEE!

    However, my husband did buy me REGULAR Cherry Dr. Pepper. I only drink DIET Dr. Pepper sans the cherry.

    Quirks - DDP is da bomb! Just imagine Dr. Pepper flavored Diet Dr. Pepper - it boggles the mind!

    I love my Keurig like nobody's business, but I love even more the vairety you have! I need to get on that.

    Kahlua is its own flavor just like a dark roast, or a french roast, I love those pods. My fav are the starbucks sumatra. It's a rich, full flavor coffee. :)
