You Might Want to Hold the Tomato and Lettuce With This One

I am still waiting for my sexy muscled barista to serve me my morning coffee. Apparently he must have washed his hands after I wrote my address on his palm when he brought me my latte at the StarMoolah's down the street. In my last posting, I mentioned our lovely little coffee station in our kitchen. I really don't go to coffee places very often as they intimidate me and the coffee tends to attack my intestines with a spiteful vengeance.

We enjoy brewing at home, sampling different varieties, and making our own lavish brews. We had a LOT of ice cream, whipped cream, and syrup left over from the ice cream social and those tend to dress up anything (minds out of the gutter, everyone!).

SO, as I was saying, we like our home station. Her Royal Cuteness and I went to restock our supply of flavored syrups the other afternoon. Usually I buy Vanilla, White Chocolate, or Hazelnut or something similar. This trip stopped me in my tracks as I saw this on the shelves:



Contrary to popular belief, I do not think that EVERYTHING is better with Bacon...

I'm about to lose internet (quiet sobbing) for the next several days...I will miss you all and catch up after the weekend!!!

    As much as I love bacon, I don't think I want my coffee to taste like bacon.

    That's too funny. I don't like coffee anyway, but coffee with bacon flavor just sounds horrid!!

    LOL, I'm not a coffee drinker at all, never acquired the taste for it, so I keep wondering why anyone would want to ruin perfectly good bacon syrup with coffee?!

    PS - DAYS without Internet?! But...how will you SURVIVE?!?!

    That is soooooo gross!!!! People need to chill with the bacon obsession. I say that, but I DID buy bacon band-aids just the other day...

    WOW. I mean, I've always been of the opinion that bacon tastes good with just about anything. I've made bacon cupcakes before (and they were delicious!). But bacon syrup in my coffee.... I just don't know how that would work. You should totally get some and give it a whirl, let us know how it goes!

    So did you try it????? Was it good? I have heard that bacon Vodka, tomato juice and a stalk of celery is a BLT adult beverage which is fairly popular now. Still I have a hard enough time with hazelnut flavoring in my coffee so I think I will stick with plain ol' BLACK! W.C.C.

    It sure seems like a perfect marriage in theory... bacon for breakfast + coffee for breakfast = bacon coffee. But I think we can all agree it would lead to horrible things. Horrible. Things.

    I wouldn't worry about bacon flavored coffee. I'm think most people will drink this stuff straight from the bottle...
