30 Days of Photographs II - Moon

Moon

The Moon card is generally characterized as having duality. It represents a power, but one that is hidden from you. It can be thought of as "illusion." The Moon can mean that the direction that you seek is unsure and the future is changeable. It is the lure of the unknown with all of its anxiety and possible mis-steps. This means that the Moon card is asking you to listen to your heart but also watch where you are going.

I'd like to think that when I gaze up at the orbital moon that I can shoot right past it for the stars. That's where I'm going.

Maybe these kids will moon you:

  7. I love Tarot cards, but don't believe in them. It's just the designs that grab me. I like the look of them, and would love to collect them.

As for the stars, I like them, too. But I'm stopping at the moon. That's my destination, and always will be.

  8. I know nothing about Tarot cars. However, I know that I like your photo of them. I especially like the smiling moon on the far right of the photo. I have always felt guided by the moon. Guess that is one reason that explains the name of my blog, Moonlight Hollow.

You've got to be kidding me. Are you sure you weren't reading my Tarot cards when you wrote this??

I love your take on the theme but, really, couldn't you have given me the "heads up"?

    ;-)

  14. Agree with Noname, a great take on the theme without being obvious. With the cell phone camera I have, I was limited also in what I could get.

    1. The moon is tough to get - I tried with my cell and camera and neither gave a good image.

  15. I'm not done catching up on all the photos from when I was at the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop yet but I sure hope no one moons me! Great take on the theme.
