30 Days of Photographs II - White

White

Here's my "puppy." He's almost 11 years old and we are thankful for every day that we have with him now. He has an enlarged heart and a collapsing trachea. The combination is weakening him. He still thinks that he is a puppy. So do I.

Please see how the others see white before your eyes:

  1. His underbite make him look like he's 6-months old.

He sure is a sweet looking pup. I hope his health holds steady so you can all enjoy yourselves for a while to come.

    1. The one crooked tooth still makes me smile. Thanks, we are trying new medicines now.

  3. I am not partial to dogs (more a cat person)...but how can I not feel for a doggie with a collapsing trachea and an enlarged heart. Hope he lives a long, long, long, happy dog life. :)

    1. Thanks, They don't know how long he has, but he seems to feel pretty good most days.

  5. Your puppy oozes with personality. Hopefully, he doesn't ooze anything else.

    1. He doesn't ooze except on purpose and then he usually goes into the bathroom. Smart pup!

  6. He is adorable and I have to say, the framing of his cute face is perfect.

    1. Thanks. He doesn't like to hold still for pictures, so it was tricky.

  8. What a precious pup! Does he have an under bite or was he baring his teeth? I have a pure white 130 pound Great Pyrenees who would love to play with your "puppy"!

    1. He's 12 pounds but thinks he's 120 pounds. He guards us against all of the other dogs in the hood.

  9. Poor things get old just like the rest of us. Glad he has a good home though.

    1. It is true, just hard to watch - especially when he stops breathing.

  11. Despite your description your pup looks very youthful - all except those DEVIL teeth ... I am going to have white fur ball nightmares! W.C.C.

  12. That scares the crap out of me. It's like a tiny, pale Cujo, just waiting to open up my carotid artery and leave me to bleed out. Aren't you worried about your safety?
